Discover Our Union

USW Local Union 9400 has been serving tourism, hotel and restaurant workers since 1994.

It brings together 4,000 workers from 56 different local units representing some 50 workplaces in many regions of Quebec.

Local Union 9400 is part of the United Steelworkers, which is the largest private-sector union in Quebec. There are 60,000 Steelworkers in Quebec, 180,000 in Canada and 800,000 in North America.

Local Union 9400 is also part of the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec (FTQ), the largest central labour body in Quebec, with more than 600,000 members.
